This lot pairs studio acetates of both sides of the single with the finished release in three formats.

The two 7-inch acetates are cut at Utopia Studios, each on Utopia’s own label and hand-marked with the RCA catalog number PB 43117: one carries “Kennedy” (4:21), the other the B-side “Unfaithful” (3:18). Both sit in Utopia paper sleeves. With them come “Kennedy” on 12-inch, 7-inch, and cassette, all in the release’s star-print sleeves.

Key details & collectability

Two 7-inch Utopia Studios acetates, “Kennedy” and “Unfaithful,” hand-labeled PB 43117

Original Utopia paper sleeves

“Kennedy” 12-inch, 7-inch, and cassette (RCA)

Pre-release cuts of the lead single from Bizarro

“Kennedy” reached No. 33 on the UK Singles Chart, the band’s first Top 40 hit

Provenance

From the archive of London producer and engineer Chris Allison.

A percentage of Chris Allison’s proceeds from this collection will be donated to Restore The Music, a social impact charity that addresses systemic inequality in music education by providing capital grants to state schools in areas of high socio-economic deprivation.

https://waxpoetics.com/products/the-wedding-present-kennedy-unfaithful-7-inch-utopia-acetates-release-bundle
