A rare archive of production master tapes for “Around The World” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, comprising the master reel, slave reel and safety copy created during remix production in 1999. The tapes are housed in their original studio boxes with handwritten annotations referencing the track and mastering process.
Released as the opening single from Californication, “Around The World” marked the beginning of a new era for the Red Hot Chili Peppers following the return of guitarist John Frusciante. The album would become one of the band’s most successful releases, helping redefine their sound for a new generation of listeners. These tapes provide a direct connection to the production and mastering process behind one of the group’s most recognisable recordings.

- Buyer premium of 20% on top of the final hammer price. E.g. for a winning bid of $100, you will pay $120 plus shipping, insurance, and taxes. The buyer premium helps us invest in curation, appraisals, verification, content and platform development.

Shipping & insurance
Shipping method: All orders are shipped tracked.
Insurance: For all orders over $200 we will include 1.3% on top of the hammer price to cover insurance.
Packing: We work with trusted packing teams to ensure the best delivery of your items. This will be added to the final cost.
Expected delivery: Item ships 2 weeks after auction closes. Delivery time varies by location.
The bidding process
