GE-OLOGY plays GE-OLOGY — Complete Album Artifact Package Add to favourites
This combined lot brings together three personal artifacts from GE-OLOGY’s debut album, GE-OLOGY plays GE-OLOGY, offering a rare, end-to-end snapshot of the project’s creative and personal significance.
At its centre is a rare one-of-one archive of Ge-ology Plays Ge-ology original album artwork, presenting the CD’s visual world in full print on canvas. This is Ge-ology's only existing personal archive of the artwork on canvas, once formerly displayed in his Brooklyn home studio, along with his original iconic Body Rock painting and others. For him, it marked the completion of his first solo album and a turning point in his career.
Offered here alongside the album’s original artwork, is a sealed copy of the album CD mounted in a golden wood frame, and the only complete surviving physical print sheet from the album’s early artwork mock-ups. It provides direct insight into how Ge-ology put great care into the album's package design, as he did the music itself, preserving and documenting every valued phase of the project as it evolved into its formal release on June 21, 2005, just over two decades ago!
Together, these three pieces form a highly collectible, first-person archive documenting the creation of GE-OLOGY's seminal debut album, an unusually complete and rarely available snapshot of an album's creation.
