The Jay Stewart Collection draws from decades spent working inside the music industry at a defining cultural moment, spanning artist marketing, label campaigns, and direct access to some of the most influential figures in hip-hop, jazz, and soul.
As a marketing representative at MCA Records and Universal Motown in the early 2000s, Jay was present at album launches, in-store signings, tour campaigns, and private industry moments. The items in this collection were acquired first-hand — signed in person, sourced directly from label campaigns, or preserved at the point of production - and carefully archived, remaining in exceptional condition.
From a fully signed Phrenology lithograph by The Roots, to a complete early-tour poster set from Kid Cudi, and one-of-one production artwork tied to Quasimoto and the Mizell Brothers, the collection presents a thoughtfully assembled archive of modern music history, preserved in exceptional original condition.
