HIGHLIGHT: EARLY EMINEM

Wax Poetics sealed Soul Intent cassette single graded 9 by AMG in a black slide box featuring 1995 Detroit hip hop art

The spine of this collection runs from the 1995 Soul Intent cassette single that predates it, through an original 1996 F.B.T. pressing of Infinite itself, to the 1998 Stretch Armstrong snippet tape that trailed The Slim Shady LP — and on into sealed first presses of the two albums that made him a household name.

Alongside it: a run of DJ Babe’s 7 Mile Album mixtapes, the hand-to-hand economy that carried Detroit rap out of Detroit months before the majors caught up.
