A promo-only snippet tape handed to radio, press, and retail ahead of The Slim Shady LP, mixed by Stretch Armstrong, whose Columbia University show with Bobbito Garcia had spent a decade functioning as New York's clearing house for anything that mattered in hip-hop.

Rather than press full tracks, the tape interleaves snippets with skits, so the listener never gets more than a taste before the sequence cuts away. Side A runs "Intro," "Record Store," "My Name Is" (snippet), "Record Store 2," "Verse 1," "Nicole," "Brain Damage" (snippet), "Ariel," and "Verse 2." Side B runs "Brenda," "I'm Shady" (snippet), "Jesse," "Guilty Conscience" (snippet), "Junko," "Verse 3," "Cock Massage," "Scary Movie," and "Taj Mahal." The J-card carries the line that dates it exactly: "Eminem debut album out 2/23."

Graded by Audio Media Grading in February 2025, where it graded seven, and it sits in an AMG slide box promo sampler holder carrying hologram number 50005813.
