An original 7” flexi-disc issued in December 1982 by Factory Records as a special Haçienda Christmas gift. Pressed in a limited edition of just 4,400 copies, these were given away exclusively on Christmas Eve at The Haçienda.

The disc features two seasonal tracks by New Order, recorded for a local Manchester TV Christmas special:

  • Rocking Carol (3:33)

  • Ode to Joy (3:55)

The label carries the festive greeting: “Merry Xmas from the Haçienda and Factory Records. A B-Music Production 33 1/3. Peace on Earth Good Will to All Members.”

This piece perfectly captures Factory’s unique mix of wit, music, and design—an ephemeral gift turned into a rare collector’s artifact, linking New Order’s early experimental years with the rise of The Haçienda.

Format: 7” flexi-disc

Edition: Limited to 4,400 copies
