This is a bootleg, CD-R copy of Don Blackman & the Family Tradition’s underrated and long-out-of-print second album, Listen, originally released on Expansion Records in 2002—bootlegged by Don himself, as part of a stash he was known to sell and give away from out of the trunk of his car! The fifteen-track LP contains the electro-funk dancefloor stepper “Just Can’t Stay Away,” co-produced by Larry Smith and released on vinyl for the first time in 2019 as a twelve-inch single by Melodies International, as well as appearances by “Funkin’ For Jamaica” singer Tonni Smith on “Can You See The Son” and “Crowd Controller.” The jewel case on this copy is slightly cracked, and lacks a cover or CD booklet; The title is written on the CD itself in Don’s handwriting.

Insurance: For all orders over $200 we will include 1.3% on top of the hammer price to cover insurance.

We run a popcorn bidding process on all auctions. This means that if you put a bid in within the last 5 minutes of the auction, the clock will extend for another 5 minutes. This will continue until no more bids are placed. This allows everyone time to get their bids in fairly.
